Some of the initial impressions of Diablo Immortal have been quite positive, but like we said, we’ll have to wait for its release to get an idea of whether or not Blizzard has another hit on their hands, or if they might have wasted their time and resources on the title. However despite the amount of dislikes, the game actually went on to do quite well, and we suppose there is a chance that this could turn around for Blizzard as well. A couple of years ago when Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare was announced, the trailer was also hit with a massive amount of dislikes. That being said, Blizzard isn’t alone in having a launch trailer with more dislikes than likes. It has also resulted in Diablo Immortal being the most disliked game video for 2018, and given that we’re now in November, it’s highly unlikely that any other game will be able to “beat” it. At this time of writing, the video has 23,000 likes against 612,000 dislikes. The launch video received a ton of dislikes which according to reports, has allowed it to nab the title of being a video with the third highest YouTube dislike percentage of all time. The idea of being able to play a game like Diablo on your phone sounds like an excellent idea on paper, but yet following the official announcement of Diablo Immortal, Blizzard was hit with a ton of backlash from fans who felt “cheated” that the company chose to announce a mobile game instead of Diablo 4.
